Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser in Seoul for Redness and Rosacea
Vbeam is a 595 nm pulsed dye laser that targets haemoglobin in small blood vessels, reducing facial redness, rosacea flushing, broken capillaries and red acne marks over a few sessions. At The Heal Dermatology Sinsa Main Branch in Gangnam, Seoul, a board-certified dermatologist evaluates your redness and confirms which vascular laser suits you.

How it works
The pulsed dye laser emits yellow light that is absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin. The heat damages the targeted vessel walls, which are then gradually reabsorbed. Integrated cooling protects the surface. Using non-purpuric settings minimises bruising, while stronger settings can be used for stubborn vessels with more downtime.
Who it's for
It is commonly used for rosacea, facial redness, telangiectasias, red post-acne marks and some red scars. People with mainly brown pigment are better suited to other treatments.

Risks & who should avoid
Side effects include redness, swelling, bruising (purpura), temporary darkening or lightening of skin, and rarely blistering or scarring. Avoid during pregnancy, with active infection, recent sun tanning, or photosensitising medicines without discussion. Rosacea triggers such as heat and alcohol can still cause flares after treatment. If you notice increasing pain, spreading redness, blistering, discharge or fever after treatment, contact the clinic promptly and read what to do if complications occur.
Planning around your trip to Seoul
If bruising would affect your plans, ask for non-purpuric settings and schedule treatment early in your stay. Swelling around the eyes can be more noticeable the next morning. Read treatment before a flight and how many days to plan, and visit international patients or getting here before you book.

Frequently asked questions
Will Vbeam leave bruises?
It depends on the settings. Non-purpuric settings usually cause only redness for a day or two, while stronger settings for stubborn vessels can cause bruising lasting one to two weeks. Your dermatologist will discuss which approach fits your schedule.
Can Vbeam cure rosacea?
Vbeam can reduce visible vessels and background redness, but rosacea is a chronic condition. Ongoing skincare, trigger management and sometimes medication are needed, and maintenance laser sessions may be helpful.
How many sessions are needed for facial redness?
Most people need around three to five sessions spaced several weeks apart. Large or numerous vessels may need more, and improvement is assessed between sessions so settings can be adjusted to how your skin responds.
